from july till the end of the year, i never run short of birthday events to attend. i dont know why but i guess most of my friends are 'second half of the year' baby. so if your birthday falls between july till december, it gives us a higher probability to become friends. haha! so this time again, its another birthday entry.  a really really really good friend of mine, SHERYL!!! just in case you don't know who's who..  cecilia, jiafang (jf), sheryl, me so firstly we had dinner at Thai Express since we were kinda craving thai food. so we went to the outlet at Esplanade. we had  thai seafood noodles.  soft shell crab curry with rice.  Overall Rating for Thai Express Esplanade 5 / 10 personally i'm quite a fan of thai express. but the outlet at Esplanade only receives a borderline mark from me. firstly, the food. so terrbily lacklustre. the seafood noodle was on the verge of tastelessness, and the soft shell crab's curry was reminiscent of the time i vomitted out prata after after a highly intoxicated clubbing night. the service? it felt like we were served by a widow whose husband died yesterday. not one single smile throughout. since, Baybeats (some music festival) was held right around the corner, it felt like we were dining in the middle of a linkin park concert, sweating as we eat since the aircon was on low or smthing. the only highlight of the dinner was that our ice water never ran out. everytime we had a sip, a waitress would be there with a jug. overall, the whole experience kinda suck. if you like Thai Express, go to the Marina Square one. unless of course, you like ice water, then make your way to esplanade's. ** we decided to head to esplanade roof terrace for some camwhoring. hahaha!!     i like the fact that we looked multi-colored that night.  and the view for our background look's good.  so we decided to take a photo.   if you havent noticed by now, jf is actually wearing shades at night. we actually forced her to wear it!! LOL!! since it was sheryl's birthday, everyone gotta take a picture with her.  cecilia gave a kiss but sadly no tongue was involved.  jf gave a hug but sadly it wasnt chest to chest.  and i gave her a shoulder to lean on. which i will always give. so mushy. bleah. got bored of the roof terrace and made our way to another location.  on the way down, we were thinking where to go ..  checked out Baybeats.  and then we thought of a place where we could suprise her with the presents and the cake. on the way there we got distracted.     very very distracted.    and somewhat the lovely lights from the fullerton made us feel like hugging.  until i got awkward. so we finally settled on Starbucks at one fullerton.  we got the staff there to surprise sheryl with a cake. i have the video of us singing the birthday song but i'm not gonna put it up cause i look like a retard.   time for presents. was getting late. so we decided to walk to the train station.  our orgasm face. unfortunately, jf has it so often that it feels nothing to her anymore.  nice view of the river.  cannot resist the hugging.  take a picture. make it last forever. unbelieveably great night. knowing you guys for 5yrs and never a dull moment. and for somebody with a low attention span, that means a lot to me. to sheryl, you know i love you so there's nothing more to say. great friends is all that matters. thank god i got rid of the fake ones. *flicks hair* loves, ali joe |
